Creating Press Releases For sponsors desiring assistance in writing press releases, John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing has devised a helpful, interactive press-release creator that is posted on his website. Click the link below and you will be directed to enter your e-mail address on a one-time basis, to verify you are not a "spammer." John then will e-mail you an access code URL to paste into your browser and bookmark so you can use Instant Press Release (IPR) repeatedly. IPR leads you through each segment of writing the text, then at the conclusion gives you the options of viewing the finished product and printing it out directly, copying and pasting the text into your word processor for further "tweaking" or having the text e-mailed to you so that you can forward it directly to contacts. It was designed for small businesses, but the basic approach is universal.
